KAISSU™ products are long lasting and they stay beautiful if you follow care- and use instructions below:

BED EHE VELVET

Materials and finishing.

  • This bed is made of natural solid oak and plywood.
  • Colourless wood oil has been used for finishing.
  • The wood pattern as well as the presence and number of different spots and stripes varies on furniture made of natural wood, as well the colour tones. They are not defects and make the product unique.
  • The textile cover of the headboard is made of upholstery fabric (60% dralon, 40% polyester, Martindale: 45,000).

Maintenance and use.

  • Before using the bed, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not rub the surface!
  • No not use a damp cloth for dusting during the first few weeks. This will prevent the fresh oil layer from being removed. In the future, you can use a slightly dampened cloth, incl. for more intensive cleaning of dirty areas.
  • Your new bed needs to get used to the humidity and temperature of your home during the first few weeks. Avoid placing the bed near heaters.
  • KAISSU™ bed will not be covered by the warranty if the humidity in your home drops below 35% during the winter / heating period. To prevent this, we recommend that you regularly check the humidity in your home and use a humidifier if necessary.
  • Dry any liquid that has come in contact with the furniture immediately.
  • Oil the surface of the furniture with colourless wood oil once a year or more often if necessary.
  • Adding a new layer of oil is simple and can be done at home. Old oil does not need to be removed or sanded. Clean the surfaces of the furniture and apply oil according to the instructions on the oil can.
  • If the surface of the furniture seems particularly rough and dry or has surface damage that you want to remove, then the surface of the furniture requires prior sanding (with approx. 200-grit sandpaper).
  • The textile cover of the headboard can be gently cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. Wet cleaning is not allowed. Dry clean only if deep cleaning is required. A maintenance label is attached to the inner side of the cover.
  • Do not fold the textile cover (except for a short time) to avoid permanent creases.
  • The bed is designed for sleeping and resting for up to two healthy normal weight adults.
  • Jumping on the bed is not allowed.
  • Dragging and pushing the bed is not allowed (incl. during assembly when no bed slats have been added to the frame yet). The bed should only be lifted, making sure that the support legs are off the ground and the frame is not subject to torsion.

  • The Vira Golden model has a 1 mm thick metal decoration on the base and the upper edge of the headboard (Homapal aluminium laminate, tone ‘brushed gold’).

  • The metal decoration added to Vira Golden model is prone to scratches in contact with any sharp or abrasive objects. Clean it gently only with a damp cloth.
  • If you wish, you can stick small rubber buttons at the top of the back of the headboard to prevent damaging the wall behind the bed.
  • The bed is designed for sleeping and resting for up to two normal weight adults.
  • Jumping on the bed is not allowed.
  • Dragging and pushing the bed is not allowed (incl. during assembly when no bed slats have been added to the frame yet). The bed should only be lifted, making sure that the support legs are off the ground and the frame is not subject to torsion.

TUUL CHILDREN’S BED

Materials and finishing.

  • This bed is made of natural birch plywood.
  • White oil wax (Osmo Wood Wax Finish No. 3186) has been used for finishing.
  • The wood pattern as well as the presence and number of different spots and stripes varies on products made of natural wood. They are not defects and make the product unique.
  • The textile cushions added to the bed are made of washable upholstery fabric (100% polyester, Martindale: 180,500); the padding is fluffy wadding.

Maintenance and use.

  • Before using the bed, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not rub the surface!
  • No not use a damp cloth for dusting during the first few weeks. This will prevent the fresh oil layer from being removed. In the future, you can use a dampened cloth, incl. for more intensive cleaning of dirty areas.
  • Your new bed needs to get used to the humidity and temperature of your home during the first few weeks. Avoid placing the bed near heaters.
  • KAISSU™ bed will not be covered by the warranty if the humidity in your home drops below 35% during the winter / heating period. To prevent this, we recommend that you regularly check the humidity in your home and use a humidifier if necessary.

  • We recommend using Osmo Wood Wax Finish No. 3186 or a similar finishing product offered by your local hardware store.
  • Adding a new layer of oil wax is simple and can be done at home. Old oil does not need to be removed or sanded. Simply clean the surfaces of the furniture and apply oil wax according to the instructions on the can.
  • If the surface of the furniture seems particularly rough and dry or has surface damage that you want to remove, then the product requires prior sanding (with 150–200-grit sandpaper).
  • The textile cushions are washable at 40 degrees. Use the delicate wash cycle.
  • The bed is designed for children, but is suitable for normal weight adults.
  • Jumping on the bed and climbing in the wheeled storage boxes is not allowed.
